Export Control

All 3SP products incorporate some form of cryptographical software and hence may be subject to international export restrictions in your country.

If you are using our products to develop third-party software that is destined for export then you may need to seek a license from your government to do so. All of our products are developed and exported from the United Kingdom under the Open General Export License for Cryptographic Development, dated 1st May 2004.

This is a self-classification license that does not require a government review to acquire. The ECCN code for our encryption software is 5D002. For export from the United States, you may need to obtain a commodity classification from the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Additionally, some countries may have restrictions on import of cryptographical software. You will need to seek approval from the relevant authorities to obtain the relevant licenses.
