SSL-Explorer is developed by a small company based in Nottingham, England. The demands of publishing an open source product places a huge strain on our limited resources and unfortunately we have to draw the line somewhere when it comes to providing unlimited free support to the open source community. Therefore 3SP cannot guarantee to answer any enquiries relating to the open source product, nor can we guarantee any response time for those enquiries which are answered through open source support channels.
We will provide the following where possible:
Investigate bugs in the software
Investigate issues with new releases
Direct users to existing resources relating to known issues
Investigate compatibility issues for well known and commonly used web sites or applications
Issues that arise as a result of incomplete documentation
We will not provide the following:
Detailed investigations into web forwarding or application publishing
Support custom web sites or custom applications
Issues that arise as a consequence of using SSL-Explorer on unsupported operating systems
Any other standard configuration related issues that are already documented
If you are in need of dedicated commercial support then you will be able to find this included with our SSL-Explorer Enterprise Edition product. This support service is direct to 3SP and is available on a 24 hour response time on all enquiries during office hours. We regret that support cannot always be provided via the SSL-Explorer forums but we are sure the vast majority of users understand the reasons for this.
