How can I minimize the risk of security breaches with SSL-Explorer?
1) Ensure that your users exit the system by clicking the 'Exit' link in the top-right hand corner of the interface. This forces the disconnect of any VPN client sessions that may be running
2) Lock down your firewall. Depending on your specific network requirements, it may be possible to close all ports on your firewall apart from 443 which is required by SSL-Explorer. Utilize the features of SSL-Explorer to provide application/resource access over SSL.
3) Introduce additional authentication schemes to provide two-factor (or three-factor!) authentication. Evaluate the additional schemes provided in the SSL-Explorer Enterprise Edition. You can introduce a hardware-based element to your logon process using cryptographic keys stored on removable USB devices
4) Enforce password complexity rules across your organization.
